  • 2 links cooked sausage, crumbled Choose beef or turkey sausage, make sure they’re cooked through and crumbled finely.
  • 2 large eggs, scrambled Beaten to fluffy perfection; avoid overcooking for best texture.
  • to taste shredded cheese (optional) Cheddar, Gouda, or Pepper Jack can be used.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the crescent dough on a baking sheet.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, scramble the eggs while cooking or reheating the sausage.
  • Mix together the scrambled eggs and crumbled sausage in a bowl.
  • Spoon the sausage and egg mixture onto the dough at the wide end.
  • Roll it up from the wide end and pinch to seal.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use parchment paper on your baking sheet for easy cleanup. Adjust baking time if you customize fillings. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
