Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch.

Mixing the Sauce

  • In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

Assembly

  • Spread the sauce mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  • Place the chicken in the greased baking dish and sprinkle with paprika or Italian seasoning if desired.

Baking

  • Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
