These soft and fluffy Grape Soda Cupcakes are bursting with nostalgic soda flavor and feature a gorgeous purple hue. Topped with a grape soda-infused frosting, they’re perfect for parties, birthday celebrations, or whenever you want a whimsical, fruity treat.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with 24 liners.
In a large bowl, mix the white cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, grape soda, and grape extract (if using) until smooth and well blended. If desired, add a few drops of purple food coloring.
Divide the batter evenly among cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack.
To make the frosting, beat softened butter until creamy and smooth.
Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well between additions.
Add grape soda one tablespoon at a time until the frosting reaches a fluffy, spreadable consistency. Mix in grape extract and purple food coloring, if using.
Pipe or spread frosting onto cooled cupcakes. Decorate with purple sprinkles or grape candy, if desired.
