  • Salt and pepper Season to taste.
  • pieces burger buns Whole wheat buns are recommended.

Preparation

  • Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet.

Cooking

  • In a crockpot, combine the cooked beef and onion with ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir well to combine and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Serving

  • Serve the Sloppy Joe mixture on burger buns.

Notes
