  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Use fresh, not pre-grated.
  • 1 piece Onion, Chopped Provides sweet and savory aroma.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced Adds depth of flavor.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Season according to preference.
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning (Optional) Enhances flavor.

Preparation

  • Layer the Chicken: Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the Crockpot and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add Aromatics: Add chopped onion and minced garlic.
  • Pour in the Liquids: Add chicken broth and heavy cream; stir to combine.
  • Season it Up: If desired, sprinkle Italian seasoning and adjust salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
  • Shred the Chicken: Once the cooking time is up, shred the chicken in the pot.
  • Pasta Time: Stir in the pasta and grated Parmesan cheese, then cover and cook for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
