Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  • Stir in mushrooms, beef broth, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Top with mashed potatoes, spreading them to cover the beef mixture entirely.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until heated through and the top is slightly golden.
  • Let cool a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, cook ground beef thoroughly and use quality beef broth. Don’t forget to season well!
