Ingredients
  

  • 1 package (1/4 oz) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  • Stir in flour, salt, and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
  • Press dough into the pan, stretching to the edges. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Add meat (if using), then sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Cool slightly before slicing into squares and serving.
