Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (turkey or halal)
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage until fully browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters and layer them evenly at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the biscuit pieces, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and biscuits.
  • Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired.
