  • 1 teaspoon 1 Teaspoon Salt Essential for bringing all the flavors together.
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper Adjust based on personal preference.
  • 1 1/2 lbs 1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef Choose lean ground beef for a healthier option.

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Cup Ketchup A must for that classic flavor.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar Balances the acidity of the ketchup.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 Teaspoon Mustard Adds a nice little zing to the glaze.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the eggs and milk, whisking them together.
  • Mix in the crushed Ritz wafers, chopped onion, shredded cheddar, salt, pepper, and ground beef. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.

Glazing and Baking

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard until smooth.
  • Pour the glaze over the meatloaf, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.
  • Once out of the oven, let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
