  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or plant-based mayo for vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh chopped herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • optional hot sauce or cayenne pepper, to taste
  • optional shredded cheese (halal), for topping or mix-in
  • optional chopped green onion, bell pepper, or tomatoes
  • optional ranch seasoning (gluten-free if needed)
  • optional chopped halal turkey bacon (optional for crunch)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream (or Greek yogurt) and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
  • Add onion powder, garlic powder, dried minced onion, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir until fully mixed.
  • Add any optional mix-ins like hot sauce, cayenne, shredded cheese, or chopped veggies. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1 hour, to let flavors blend.
  • Give the dip a quick stir, taste and adjust seasonings if desired before serving.
  • Serve chilled with chips, crackers, sliced veggies, or pita chips. Enjoy!
