  • 1 cup 1 cup heavy cream This transforms into airy whipped cream.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup sugar Balances the flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor profile.
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Adds warmth and flavor.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup crushed nuts Almonds or walnuts add crunch.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup granola Adds texture and can make it breakfast-ish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel and dice the apples carefully.
  • Whip the heavy cream with sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until soft peaks form.
  • In serving cups, layer diced apples at the bottom.
  • Add a generous layer of whipped cream over the apples.
  • Sprinkle with crushed nuts and granola if desired.
  • Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chill the mixing bowl before whipping cream. Use a mix of apple varieties for a balanced flavor. Don't forget to taste as you go!
