For the Dough

  • 1 package crescent roll dough The magical vehicle for holding all the goodness inside.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, and your choice of shredded cheese.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Rolling Out the Dough

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking or heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface and cut it into triangles.

Filling and Sealing

  • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on each triangle.
  • Fold the triangle over to create a half-moon shape and press the edges to seal.

Cooking

  • For baking, place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  • For frying, carefully drop half-moons in hot oil, cooking until golden brown on both sides.

Serving

  • Serve warm, preferably with a side of your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes
