Preparation

  • Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the diced halal bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
  • In the bacon drippings, add ground beef; cook until browned. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  • Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Let it simmer gently while stirring.
  • Stir in cooked pasta and shredded cheese until melted and well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then top with crispy bacon and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality cheese for a better melt and flavor. Allow each ingredient to fully develop its flavors. Consider adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach for a nutritional boost.
