Ingredients

  • 6 waffle or sugar cones
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (dark, milk, or white)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips (optional)
  • 1 cup diced strawberries or banana slices (optional)
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  • Set up a topping station with cones, marshmallows, chocolate, and desired add-ins. Tear 6 sheets of aluminum foil large enough to fully wrap each cone.
  • Layer fillings inside each cone: start with a few mini marshmallows to plug the tip, add chocolate, then fruit or other add-ins, repeating layers until just below the rim.
  • Wrap each filled cone tightly in aluminum foil, sealing the top so the fillings are enclosed.
  • Campfire or Grill: Place wrapped cones near hot embers or over medium heat (not in direct flames) for 5–7 minutes, rotating once or twice until warmed through. Oven: Bake at 375°F for 5–7 minutes on a baking sheet.
  • Using tongs, transfer cones to a plate and let rest 1–2 minutes. Carefully unwrap, allowing steam to escape, and enjoy warm and gooey.
