Preparation

  • Prepare the Ingredients: Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: Mix in sugar, egg, and milk to the mashed bananas and stir until smooth.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine the Mixtures: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  • Heat the Oil: In a frying pan, heat the oil to around 350°F over medium heat.
  • Shape the Buns: Use your hands to shape the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.

Cooking

  • Fry the Buns: Gently slide the shaped buns into hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Drain the Buns: Once cooked, lift the buns out and drain on paper towels.
