  • 75 grams crumbled feta cheese Adds salty richness.
  • 30 milliliters olive oil or melted butter Use butter for more flavor.
  • 30 grams dried cranberries Adds chewiness and tang.
  • 30 milliliters honey Use a good quality honey.
  • 1 gram ground cinnamon Enhances the flavor and aroma.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Halve the pears and core them.
  • Brush the cut sides of the pears with olive oil or melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the pears lightly with ground cinnamon.

Baking

  • Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in the lined baking dish.
  • Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, until tender but still firm.

Finishing Touches

  • Remove pears from the oven and immediately top each half with crumbled feta and dried cranberries.
  • Drizzle the warm pears generously with honey.
  • If desired, sprinkle a few fresh thyme leaves over the top.

Serving

  • Serve warm, ideally complemented with Greek yogurt or whipped cream.
